Dayon Hostel - Coron

The staff are amazing, warm, and friendly. Great location near a vegan restaurant and a local eatery. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Comfy beds. Excellent value for money.

The shower in the rooftop mixed dorm where we stayed wasn't great. But the showers downstairs on the next floor were lovely and available to use.

I had an amazing time at Dayon Hostel during my recent stay. As a first-time hostel guest, it was the perfect place for me to start. The facilities and rooms were impeccably clean, and the food offered at the hostel was not only delicious but also much more affordable than nearby restaurants. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The rooftop area was a highlight, offering a great atmosphere and stunning views. a fantastic experience!

They went out of their way to make sure I had a great stay and were always available to answer any questions I had. the location was perfect - close to all the main services in town, making it easy to explore and find everything I needed. One more advantage was the rooftop bar, which was a great place to relax and hang out with other travelers.

There were a few aspects that I didn't like about my stay. the shower in the dorm room I stayed in was not good at all.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating, even allowing me to check in a day later without charging me for the first night. the location was convenient and not far from the main services in town. the 12 people dorm was spacious and not crowded, allowing us to have plenty of room for our belongings. the air conditioning in the dorm was effective. the rooftop bar was a great place to hang out and relax.

We were really surprised by the variety of breakfast options offered at Dayon hostel. Each morning, we indulged in different delicious treats like pancakes and omelettes on the rooftop terrace. It was a good surprise, made our stay even better. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience. we would highly recommend Dayon hostel for a great stay.

Great value for the money spent. The room was aesthetically pleasing and spacious with floor-to-ceiling glass walls. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the nightlife area, providing a quieter environment at night on the rooftop. The staff, including Mao, were friendly, helpful, and always available. The hostel's vibe and aesthetic, along with their hospitality, were great. The breakfast options from 7-10AM were very nice, with unlimited brewed coffee and delicious food. Hanging out at the rooftop, enjoying free shots and socializing with other guests, was a highlight. The signature cocktail, Adios, was a must-try.

Some guests mentioned that the WiFi signal was not always strong, which can be a minor inconvenience for those relying heavily on internet connectivity.

It opened at 16:00h and provided the perfect setting to relax with a beer in hand. the staff at Dayon was friendly and always ready to assist with whatever we needed. the hostel had a modern vibe, thanks to the cool artwork displayed throughout. the kitchen being open 24/7 was convenient for making our own meals. the location was ideal, close to restaurants, bars, and the port. the rooms may have been compact, but each bed had its own fan and light, as well as an electricity box for charging our phones. the bathrooms were basic but kept clean. Considering the reasonable price, this hostel was a great find!

Nothing it was perfect.

I recently stayed at Dayon in Coron for a few nights and had a fantastic experience! The staff, especially Chris, were incredibly helpful and hospitable. The hostel was really clean and the roof bar was a lot of fun. I loved that the breakfast was different each day and they had unlimited free coffee. The design and style of the hostel were cool, and it was conveniently located. a great place for backpackers on a budget.

The beds were really comfortable, providing a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. Additionally, the communal bathroom facilities were well-maintained and always clean, ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests.

The lack of vegan breakfast options. Although the pastries were delicious, it would have been great to have a wider variety of choices to cater to different dietary preferences.
